The 'Morning Light' is also a taller variety, growing to 6-8' tall with delicate feathery plumes and very thin graceful leaves. This is a variegated form. It should receive sun to part shade, and average to little summer watering. -Monterey Bay Nursery

With tall, 24-30" stems, 'Provence' has true, lavender colored flowers that are fragrant and excellent for cutting. It flowers in early June and has large, gray/green leaves.

Botanical name:Penstemon X gloxinioides 'Garnet'
The border pestemon is a showy perennial that remains2-4 ft. high It has reddish pink tubular blossoms on long flower spikes from spring through the fall and is hardy to 15 degrees F. It is also drought tolerant, and attracks hummingbirds and butterflies.
